RESEARCH ON THE STARTING POSITIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGY OF THE SUMY NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY FOR 2021-2025 AS PART OF THE PUBLICATION ACTIVITY IN SCOPUS
This study aims to evaluate the publication activity of SNAU in Scopus during the period of validity of the previous university development strategy (2015-2020), to identify the starting positions for the implementation of the strategy of SNAU for the period 2021-2025, related to indicators related to Scopus, and also to benchmark the positions of the university with two groups of universities (firstly, agricultural higher education institutions of Ukraine and secondly, higher education institutions included in the QS WUR 2020 rating). Accordingly, this study is divided into three sections, each of which can be considered and analyzed separately, but together they give a picture of the position of SNAU today in terms of publication activity in Scopus.
The main tool used was SciVal, test access to which was provided by Elsevier, for which many thanks to Krzysztof Szymanski and Bartlomiej Wieckowski from the company's Warsaw office.
